Dental clinics · Hisuno
Dental software that runs the phone and the practice.
Hisuno answers your phone around the clock, books into real chair time, and opens the case sheet before the patient hangs up — then runs the rest of the practice from the same screen: FDI charting, treatment plans, prescriptions, billing, recalls and reports.

A patient calls at 8:47pm.
The clinic is closed. Nobody is at the desk. This happens anyway.
Good evening, Smile Dental. How can I help?
My back tooth has been hurting since morning. Can I see the doctor tomorrow?
That sounds uncomfortable — let me find you something early. Is this a sharp pain when you bite, or constant?
Chief complaint captured
Constant. It got worse at night.
Understood. Dr. Mehta has 10:30am free tomorrow, or 4:15pm if mornings are difficult.
Checked live chair availability
10:30 is fine.
Booked for 10:30am with Dr. Mehta. I've noted persistent lower-right pain since this morning so he can plan for it. You'll get a confirmation on WhatsApp now.
Appointment booked · case sheet opened · WhatsApp sent
Nobody typed any of that. The appointment, the case sheet and the confirmation existed before the patient put the phone down.
- Answers in under a second, in the caller’s own language
- Books your real chair time — it cannot double-book
- Case sheet open and confirmation sent before they hang up
What it is
A receptionist that never sleeps, and the practice software behind it.
Hisuno is two products that only work because they are one. An AI agent answers your clinic’s phone, and a full practice management workspace sits behind it — so the calls are not messages someone has to type up later, they are the appointments, patients and case sheets themselves.
The agent picks up on the first ring, at 2am or on a Sunday, in whichever language the patient speaks. It asks what a good receptionist asks, reads your live chair availability, books the slot and confirms it before the call ends. By the time the patient hangs up they are on tomorrow’s schedule, their case sheet is open with the complaint already written down, and the WhatsApp confirmation has been delivered.
Your dentists then work the rest of the day in the same place — charting, treatment plans, prescriptions, invoices, recalls and reports — every one of them attached to the patient the phone created. Nothing is entered twice, because nothing was ever entered once.
What it takes off your desk
- The missed-call list
- A paper appointment book
- An after-hours answering service
- WhatsApp on the receptionist’s own phone
- A spreadsheet of who is due a recall
- Case sheet files in a cupboard
- Retyping the call into the software
The phone
Every call answered in under a second, 24/7. Triage questions asked and written down, genuine emergencies escalated to you rather than quietly booked, and nobody left on hold. Recordings, transcripts and a quality score on each call.
The schedule
Per-dentist working hours, closed days, chair capacity and real procedure lengths. A 45-minute root canal never lands in a 15-minute gap, nothing double-books, and no slot is offered on a day you are shut.
The clinical record
Case sheets for general, implant, orthodontic and paediatric work, each with the fields that specialty actually uses. FDI charting for permanent, deciduous and periodontal, nineteen colour-coded conditions, every finding dated and attributed.
The follow-up
Six-month recalls, post-op checks, second sessions and no-shows. The workspace knows who is due; the agent calls or messages them and books them back in without being asked.
The money
Treatment-plan estimates, invoices, part payments and outstanding balances per patient. Reports on revenue, no-shows, treatment mix and where new patients actually came from.
The team
Each dentist, hygienist and front-desk person gets their own login with their own permissions. Every identifying field is encrypted at rest, and every action is recorded against the person who took it.
How it works
Four things happen. You do none of them.
01
The call is answered
Every ring, at any hour, in the patient’s own language. No hold music, no "please call during clinic hours".
02
The complaint is understood
Pain, swelling, a broken crown, a routine cleaning — the agent asks the follow-up a receptionist would, and writes down the answer.
03
The chair is booked
Against your real working hours and each dentist’s real availability. It cannot double-book, and it will not offer a slot you are closed for.
04
The case sheet is waiting
Before the patient arrives, the chart is open with their complaint, history and last visit already on it. The dentist starts at diagnosis, not data entry.
Charting
Every tooth, its whole story.
The chart in your workspace is a real FDI chart, not a picture of one. Mark a condition and it is on the record, in the report, and in the next dentist’s hands.
- Permanent, deciduous and periodontal charts
- Nineteen conditions, colour-coded and per-surface
- Every finding dated, attributed and reversible
- Prints as a patient-ready report

The workspace
Everything a dental practice runs on.
One workspace. The phone feeds it, and it feeds the phone back.
AI reception, 24/7
Answers, triages and books — nights, Sundays, and the twenty minutes your receptionist is at lunch. Urgent calls are flagged, never auto-handled into a queue.
Chair-aware scheduling
Per-dentist hours, closed days and procedure lengths. A 45-minute RCT never gets slotted into a 15-minute gap.
Case sheets that write themselves
Chief complaint, history, examination, diagnosis, treatment plan. Implant, ortho and paedo sheets included, each with the fields that specialty actually uses.
FDI charting
Permanent, deciduous and perio charts. Nineteen conditions, colour-coded per tooth, with the whole history of each one a click away.
Recalls that actually go out
Six-month cleanings, follow-ups, post-op checks. The workspace knows who is due and the agent calls or messages them.
Prescriptions & pharmacy
Write the Rx in the case sheet and it lands in the pharmacy queue — dispensed, stock-adjusted and billed without a second entry.
WhatsApp & SMS in one thread
Confirmations, reminders and the "can I move my appointment?" reply, all against the same patient record.
Encrypted patient data
Every identifying field is encrypted at rest. Consent for recordings is asked for and stored, per patient.
The arithmetic
What a missed call actually costs.
1 in 3
calls go unanswered
At a busy chairside moment nobody reaches the phone. The patient does not leave a voicemail — they call the next clinic.
62%
never call back
A patient in pain books with whoever picks up first. The second call almost never comes.
~₹4,000
per lost patient
A single missed new-patient call is worth more than a month of software. Most clinics miss several a week.
What they search
What the phone is actually ringing about.
Every one of these is a search that ends with somebody dialling a clinic. They are listed because the agent has to understand each one on the call — and beside each is what it does when it hears it.
They are looking for a clinic
These are the searches that end with your phone ringing. What happens in the next ten seconds is the whole difference between a patient and a missed call.
- dentist near me
- Answered on the first ring, at any hour, with your real availability rather than "we will call you back".
- dental clinic near me
- The agent knows which of your chairs are free this week and offers the ones that are.
- best dentist near me
- It can say which of your dentists does what, and book the right one for what they described.
- dental clinic in <your city>
- Your hours, your closed days and your holidays — no slot is ever offered on a day you are shut.
- dentist in <your city>
- New callers become patient records with the complaint already written down, not names on a pad.
- best dentist in <your city>
- Every call is recorded, transcribed and scored, so you can hear what the good ones sound like.
- dental hospital near me
- Multi-chair, multi-dentist clinics are handled — capacity and procedure length are both respected.
- dental care near me
- Recalls go out on their own, so the patients you already have keep coming back.
- dental doctor near me
- Asks for the dentist by name and books that dentist, not the first free slot.
- family dentist near me
- A family rings once and books three people; the agent takes all three and links the records.
- affordable dentist near me
- It can quote from your own treatment-plan estimates instead of guessing a price.
- dental clinic open now
- At 11pm on a Sunday it still answers and books the first slot you are genuinely open for.
- emergency dentist near me
- A real emergency is escalated to you rather than quietly slotted into next Thursday.
They know what they want done
Treatment calls are the ones that pay for the clinic, and they are also the ones a rushed front desk books into the wrong length of chair time. The agent knows how long each of these actually takes at your practice.
- root canal treatment
- Booked at your real RCT length, in the chair that does them, with the case sheet opened on the endodontic template.
- root canal dentist near me
- Routed to the dentist who does root canals, and only into their working hours.
- dental implants
- The implant case sheet has its own fields — site, system, torque, healing — and they are waiting when the patient arrives.
- dental implant clinic
- Multi-visit work is booked as a plan, not a single appointment that someone has to remember to follow.
- dental implant cost
- Answered from your own estimate for that treatment, then sent to them in writing.
- teeth cleaning
- A short procedure gets a short slot, so scaling never eats an hour that a crown needed.
- professional teeth cleaning
- Six-month recalls for cleaning go out automatically to everyone due.
- teeth whitening
- Booked with the shade record attached, so the before is on file before the after.
- cosmetic dentist
- Consult first, treatment second — the agent books the consult and the plan follows it.
- smile makeover
- Long multi-sitting plans are laid out across the calendar with the estimate attached.
- dental veneers
- Lab work and fit appointments are booked as a pair, with the gap between them respected.
- braces
- The orthodontic case sheet carries its own charting and the adjustment schedule that follows.
- orthodontist near me
- Sent to the orthodontist on your team, in their hours, not the general chair.
- clear aligners
- Aligner reviews recur on their own cycle and chase themselves.
- wisdom tooth removal
- Surgical extractions get surgical time, and the post-op check is booked while they are still on the call.
- tooth extraction
- Post-op instructions go out on WhatsApp the moment the appointment is made.
- dental crowns
- Prep and fit visits both booked, with the lab turnaround built into the gap.
- dental bridges
- Treatment plan, estimate and part payments all sit on the patient, not in a notebook.
- dentures
- Impression, trial and delivery visits scheduled together and reminded separately.
Something hurts
Pain calls arrive at the worst hour and are the easiest to get wrong. The agent asks the triage questions a good receptionist asks, writes the answers down, and knows which ones are not allowed to wait.
- tooth pain treatment
- Asked how long, how bad, and whether it wakes them — all of it on the case sheet before you see them.
- toothache dentist near me
- Offered the soonest genuinely free slot, not the soonest slot on paper.
- bleeding gums treatment
- Flagged as periodontal so the perio chart is the one that opens.
- swollen gums treatment
- Swelling with fever is escalated to you as an emergency, not booked for Friday.
- broken tooth treatment
- Trauma is triaged: what broke, when, and whether the piece was kept.
- sensitive teeth treatment
- Booked as an assessment, with the history already taken down.
- cavity treatment
- The tooth they name is charted on the FDI chart before the appointment starts.
- gum disease treatment
- Staged perio treatment is planned as a course with its own recall cycle.
- wisdom tooth pain
- Distinguished from ordinary toothache and given the right length of chair time.
- chipped tooth treatment
- Photographed on arrival and attached to the record, so the repair has a before.
Questions
Everything a clinic asks first.
It is practice management software where the phone is part of the system rather than a separate job. Hisuno answers every call with a conversational AI agent, books the appointment into your real chair availability, and opens the patient’s case sheet with the complaint already written down — so the software is filling itself in while the clinic is busy.
It books. The agent reads your live calendar — per-dentist hours, closed days, procedure durations — offers real slots, and confirms the booking on the call. The patient gets a WhatsApp or SMS confirmation before hanging up. It cannot double-book and it will not offer a time you are closed.
The agent detects the caller’s language and replies in it, across English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and other widely spoken languages. Patients never press a button or ask to be transferred.
Yes. Full FDI charting for permanent, deciduous and periodontal charts, with nineteen colour-coded conditions. Case sheets cover general dentistry plus dedicated implant, orthodontic and paediatric formats, each with the fields that specialty uses.
They are flagged rather than handled. The agent recognises an emergency, gives the patient the immediate guidance you have configured, and alerts you straight away instead of quietly booking them three days out.
Every identifying field is encrypted at rest, access is role-based per staff member, and every action is recorded against the person who took it rather than the account. Call recordings are only kept where the patient has consented.
You can sign up and have the workspace running in minutes. Connecting a phone number and tuning the agent to your clinic’s hours, dentists and procedures is usually the same afternoon.
Yes — there is a free trial with no card required, and you can book a live demo where we run a real call through your own clinic’s setup.
Where you practise
Dental clinics across India.
Hisuno is the same software wherever you practise — what changes is the languages your patients ring in. These are the cities whose language mixes the agent is set up for out of the box; anywhere else, you tell it during setup.
It answers in the language they call in.
A patient does not open the call in whichever language your website is written in. Hisuno listens first and replies in theirs — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese or English — and it follows them if they switch halfway through, which on a phone call in India they usually do. The case sheet it writes afterwards is in English, so your dentists read one thing and your patients hear another.
